For industrial gas burners with a fixed capacity, the automatic burner control unit IFD 258 ignites and keeps an eye on directly ignited burners. Its totally electronic architecture allows it to respond fast to a variety of process needs, making it appropriate for frequent cycling operation as well.
It can be applied to forced-draught or atmospheric burners in multiple burner applications, where pre-purge and monitoring are handled by a central control system. Stage-controlled or modulating burners are possible.
